The first meeting among partners in BAONPS project took place in Alba, in the first week of December 2015. Participants reported the main drug trends and NPS in their countries and discussed about what can be considered an NPS in this project (EMCDDA definition).
DrogArt (Slovenia) and APDES/CHECK!N (Portugal) presented the methods they are using in their own drug checking services; CAD (Italy) introduced the method that is going to be used in Italy, where the drug checking service is formally implemented for the first time.
Eclectica (Italy) introduced the guidelines and methods for the research on meanings and consumption patterns concerning NPS and the cross-cultural differences among country partners: an on field survey, done in outreach interventions asking partygoers to fill in an anonymous questionnaire, and a web research including an exploration of the deep web.
During the kick-off meeting took place a public presentation of BAONPS project.
